Robert Staples
Staples joined the Office of Charles & Ray Eames while he was still an industrial design student at the University of Southern California. Sixteen years, the aluminum group, airport seating, and numerous exhibitions later, he joined Barbara Fahs Charles in Washington DC and established S&C. Staples is our senior exhibition designer. Recently, he design-engineered the new "Louis Kahn demountable walls" for Yale Center for British Art.
Barbara Fahs Charles
Charles studied history, art history, and graphics at Oberlin; worked professionally making theatre costumes; and then for four years worked at the Eames Office, where she researched and developed content for exhibitions. At S&C, Charles serves as project manager, working closely with clients on interpretation, graphics, and media. Charles is presently exhibition consultant to the Liberation War Museum, Dhaka, Bangladesh
